Decatur Lunar New Year Festival Participation Waiver
By attending or participating in the Decatur Lunar New Year Festival, hosted by Lilith Labs, LLC and its organizing team, I acknowledge and agree to the following terms:
- Assumption of Risk:
I understand that participating in this event involves certain inherent risks, including but not limited to:- Physical injury or harm resulting from event activities, including cultural performances, booths, or recreational areas.
- Risks associated with food and beverage consumption, including allergic reactions or foodborne illnesses.
- Unpredictable or uncontrollable elements such as weather conditions or large crowds.
I voluntarily assume all such risks and accept full responsibility for my participation.
- Release of Liability:
I hereby release, waive, and discharge the Decatur Lunar New Year Festival, its organizers, sponsors, partners, employees, agents, volunteers, and venue providers from any and all claims, liabilities, or damages arising from or related to my participation in this event, including but not limited to personal injury, property damage, or other losses. - Parental Consent (if applicable):
If I am a parent or guardian of a minor participating in this event, I acknowledge that I am assuming all risks and releasing liability on behalf of myself and my minor child. - Indemnification:
I agree to indemnify and hold harmless the Decatur Lunar New Year Festival, its organizers, and affiliates from any claims or demands arising out of my actions or the actions of any minors under my supervision during the event. - Photo and Media Release:
I understand that photographs or videos may be taken during the event for promotional purposes. By participating, I grant the organizers permission to use my image, likeness, or recordings without compensation. - Agreement to Terms:
By attending or participating in this event, I confirm that I have read, understood, and voluntarily agreed to the terms of this waiver.
